Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Client", or "Vendor") and Tiny Care Holdings Pte. Ltd. ("Tiny Care", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore.
By registering an account, accessing, or using the Tiny Care platform, website, or mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Platform Overview
Tiny Care is an online marketplace that connects individuals seeking care-related services ("Clients") with service providers ("Vendors"). The Platform facilitates discovery, booking, communication, and payment — but Tiny Care is not itself a service provider.
Tiny Care acts solely as an intermediary platform. We do not employ Vendors, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or outcome of any services rendered between Clients and Vendors.
Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age, or have valid parental or guardian consent
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Platform under the laws of Singapore or your applicable jurisdiction
- Provide accurate and truthful registration information
We reserve the right to refuse access to any person who does not meet these requirements.
Accounts & Registration
4.1 Account Creation
You may register using your email address or via third-party authentication (Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
4.2 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information updated. Tiny Care reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false, misleading, or outdated information.
4.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tinycareapp.com if you suspect any unauthorised access.
4.4 One Account Per User
Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating duplicate accounts may result in termination of all associated accounts.
Client Obligations
As a Client using the Platform, you agree to:
- Use the Platform solely for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate booking details, addresses, and instructions
- Treat Vendors with respect and professionalism
- Pay for confirmed bookings in accordance with the agreed terms
- Not solicit Vendors to provide services outside of the Platform to circumvent fees
- Not share your account with others or allow third parties to make bookings on your behalf without authorisation
Vendor Obligations
As a Vendor on the Platform, you agree to:
- Provide services that are accurately described in your profile
- Hold all required licences, certifications, and qualifications required by applicable law
- Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for the services you offer
- Arrive punctually and fulfil confirmed bookings
- Treat Clients with courtesy and professionalism
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards in Singapore
- Not accept payments outside the Platform for services arranged through it
Vendors who solicit off-platform payments, misrepresent their qualifications, or engage in fraudulent behaviour will be permanently banned and may be subject to legal action.
Bookings & Payments
7.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation notification from the Platform. Verbal or informal agreements outside the Platform do not constitute confirmed bookings.
7.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. Tiny Care does not store your full card details.
7.3 Service Fees
Tiny Care may charge platform fees or commissions on bookings. Applicable fees will be displayed clearly before you confirm a booking.
7.4 Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable taxes arising from transactions on the Platform. Tiny Care will provide relevant documentation where required by law.
Cancellations & Refunds
8.1 Cancellation by Client
Cancellation terms vary by service type and Vendor. The applicable cancellation policy will be displayed at the time of booking. Late cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
8.2 Cancellation by Vendor
Vendors who cancel confirmed bookings without reasonable cause may be subject to penalties, including reduced visibility on the Platform or account suspension.
8.3 Refunds
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. Tiny Care reserves the right to determine refund eligibility based on the circumstances of each case.
8.4 Disputes
In the event of a dispute between a Client and Vendor, please contact us at support@tinycareapp.com. Tiny Care will endeavour to mediate but is not obligated to resolve disputes on behalf of either party.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any of the following:
- Violating any applicable law or regulation
- Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent content or reviews
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
- Circumventing Platform fees by arranging off-platform transactions
- Using the Platform for any unlawful or commercial purpose not authorised by Tiny Care
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems
- Introducing malware, viruses, or any harmful code
- Scraping, crawling, or extracting Platform data without express written consent
- Impersonating any person or entity
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and legal action.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including but not limited to logos, trademarks, text, graphics, software, and design — is the property of Tiny Care Holdings Pte. Ltd. or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
By submitting content to the Platform (such as reviews, profile images, or service descriptions), you grant Tiny Care a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform.
Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiny Care makes no warranties — express or implied — including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Platform
- The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
- The quality, safety, or suitability of Vendor services
Tiny Care does not endorse any Vendor and is not liable for any harm arising from services provided through the Platform.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tiny Care, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data
- Damages arising from User interactions or services rendered on the Platform
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Tiny Care in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tiny Care Holdings Pte. Ltd. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
- Any services you provide or receive through the Platform
Termination
Tiny Care may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:
- Violation of these Terms
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Requests by law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Extended periods of account inactivity
You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10–13) shall do so.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or in-app notification.
Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
